The land

Sixteen hectares, of which:
four with 5x4m tree spacing, nine with 5x6 spacing, three with 4x4 spacing

• soil of medium consistency, tending to clayey calcareous
• organic fertilising with organic-certified products or green manuring with leguminous plants
• mowing between trees, with cuttings left on the ground
• pruning remains used for the fight against insects and for integrating organic substances into the earth
• shallow tilling twice a year, far from blossom-time
• periodic soil analyses to check the fertility, supplemented with foliar analysis
